anyone know what type of coral this is.i got it from a fellow reefer and he didnt know what it was either.

Looks like some kind of gonipora.

those stalks are boney.it does not retract into itself like a goniopora

Try a Galaxea and remember that if it is, then it is very aggressive and extends long polyps to "burn" everything it touches.

actually looks like 4th down 2nd to right genus galexa.pedro does it AGAIN.U THE MAN.from the pic does it look like its healthy.its sweepers are out and the light is still on.and i did give it room.i
