love this star but cant find any information about it. feeding this guy big chunks of shrimp and eating it like a champ.

Looks like a type of Culcita sp. (Pillow / Cushion star)

Not sure about all of them but I know some of them are not reef safe.

It looks like an enormous asterina, kinda. I'd have to imagine that is a predatory starfish, the way it can easily envelope its meal.

tell me about it... this guy was trying to swallow a choclate star. when i saw it at the shop.
