they look like drops of paint...lol....what else can you tell us about them? do they move? are they like bumps...maybe they're tiny little barnicles. I used to have a bunch but then they stopped and so I scraped most of them.
sorry, using few words this evening... they are one of 2 things..they can be snail eggs (doubtful). You can tell if they are soft & squishy.
If they are hard they are very common in new (newish) tanks. They are little tiny feather duster worms, (don't think actual worms...), this type are not soft, they are hard and if you look really, really closely you will see they have a hard shell with a 'swirl' pattern on it.
If you look closely, they are also probably on your rocks too. In time their population will lessen and they won't be as noticeable to you
They are good little guys and show that your tanks is reaching a good 'balance'.
I'll see if I can find you a pic of them
I think they're eggs of some sort. I have them on my tank glass and you can see behind them. They look like about a few dozen tiny yellow eggs in there. I've had some that looks like it popped. It could've been the fish eating them. I'm not totally sure what it is though. It started showing up after I put in some nerite snails I've gotten from ReefCleaners from early this year.
maybe they are snail eggs for you sumbub....but i've my snails for a good while and nothing with the sort of that...it'd be cool to have tiny baby turbo and astrea.
I have them also in my tank they are not small duster in my tank they are on my back wall on my rocks on snail shell. I think they are some kind of egg case... I will try to get one off intact and scope it~~
