Worms

Hello,
Can anyone help identify these, well...critters? They have been around for months, but until I took a close up shot with my camera(very close up as my sand is NOT that coarse, but appears to be)and touched them with my net, I thought they were strands of algae or something of the sort...
However, I believe they are worms(?) of some sort?

Harmless detrivores. Good for the tank. I don't remeber their name... Trebellids maybe?
