How can you tell what type of acan these are?
I also just changed the aquarium water and part of the acan was above water for a few minutes and stringy guts or stuff comming out from the area that was above water.
Is this a Hillae or an Enchinta? Someone said it was a enchinata.

If you want the trade name for the color pattern i have no clue.

As for the stringy stuff you just pissed it off. nothing to worry about. The stringy stuff is its guts and its a defense mechanism. My echinata's used to do that when i took them out to frag. Would always pick up acan gut covered ones to frag out of the frag bucket.
