i have a small piece i saved from a colony i had, now that it's under mh and water par seem to be alot better or atleast looking the way corals are coloring back up, but my purple nana's tip is turning green so i would take it that it really isnt a purple nana or i might be wrong. will get a pic later

When ever you frag a purple nana from the bottom the tips turn green and when it spreads over the rock or plug they have a green rim....I don't know why but mine does this too, only to change again once it's stable and about 2in of growth...

Maybe it has something to do with the photosynthetic bacteria dieing back a little when you cut it, and then a growth spurt when they start growing back...But hey I'm no Randy so just think about that..JUST A THEORYlol...
