Kind looks like the Skeletor Eel that was out a while ago. It could also be an Engineer Gobie.
Not a gobie I know that. It’s about 12”
I agree… large engineer goby… I have 4 that are 16-18”

Everyone see these little striped Engineer goby and don't realized how large they can get. I think the Aquarium in LI had a large breeding group in the their large reef tank a number of years ago.
Look like an eel, but very peaceful! I was recently offered $300 for a pair, but grandkids love to see them.

I think the biggest problem with them is that they like to dig in the sand around the rocks, so you need to make sure that your rocks are secure and you don't have an avalanche.
Absolutely…my base rocks are all directly on the bottom of the tank, or drilled and have acrylic ‘legs’… no rock slides!
