So I put my algae under the microscope and compared it to some of the ID threads on R2R and it looks to me like Coolia dinos.

Can anyone help confirm? And is there a way to treat the tank without buying a UV? Best course to get rid of it?

I've been working on dinos for a few months, now, I would say go with Dr tim's dino package, there are 2 bacterial cultures in the kit, I don't know what the differences are. I tried my own approach to removing dinos, unsuccessfully, since I knew the principle, but didn't know the exact dosage/schedule. Dr. Tim's products has a time table and dosing instructions, which is what I'll be doing next week.
(I used Slime away to remove the dinos down to 99%, however didn't add the mycobacter 7 enough, or on the right schedule to prevent dinos from repopulating the tank.) I've also used a German brand of Dino X, which worked in the past, though I seem to have a resistant strain of it this time.
