does anyone know what this is? its growing on my rock real slow someone said red slime algae but theres no picture that looks like this when i look it up. its a really dark red maybe brown velvet looking thing and i took out the rock to try to cscrub it off iwth a ttoth brush and nothing came off i had to use a scouring pad and got some of it off. any ideas???

get some turbo snails they'll get rid of that quick. It's just a turf algae.
