Hi, this thing grew about 1 inch in a month, it's about 2-3 inches now. I was trying to ID it, and the closest thing I found was bubble algae. If its bubble algae, is this type as bad as the green bubbles? It looks kindof nice...:scratch:

Thank you, that's where I looked first but I could not find anything that looked like this... maybe I'm blind, I'll look again.:knockedou

I have this in green from New World. They said it is from Hawaii, and it is called Wavy Koly - that is how is sounds. Not sure how it is spelled.

That isn't bubble algae, and I would consider it a good form of algae from the picture. It look like the type I keep in my sump for nitrate reduction.
