An acro not doing well in color or not BLUE'd out to show it's colors.
Interesting comment about the blue. So I keep my tank very white for a more natural look but I also use old led fixtures, 3x Pacific Sun Black Pythons 160w, which only have 3 channels, cool white, cool blue and royal blue. I have all 3 colors at 100% and the fixtures at 75% overall. Would you say that my fixture coloring settings will effect the actual color of my SPS? Not just the color they look but the actual color they produce. Could be a stupid question but I'm new to SPS

Swear you been around longer than me. :D

Testing people?

I have always kept my lighting from 14k to 20k spectrum. I haven't really looked into the overall spectrum works best for SPS specifically for coloring. I would think they all grow but people who can help better about SPS coloring up and how lighting spectrum can really affect SPS growth and color. I think people like Vio and forget the other guy on here with a SICK SPS tank. I am sure there are others but to me those two have stood out and I know Vio changed with different lighting.

There was the guy who did some sick SPS on the secluded little island near JFK. I haven't seen him post in awhile and remember seeing a f/s thread on his tank but he had a few.

Sorry can't help with this question.

However, how is the coloring under a more blueish spectrum?

Lol I have been around for a long time but I've never concentrated this much on SPS.

Anyways, hopefully someone else will pitch in on this thread although it looks like just you and I are have a conversation lol
