Help identify this Acan

I used to have this acan (at least I think it was an acan) that would extend upwards, looked almost like a set of pipes. Any ideas if that was just a regular acan or was there something special about it? I want to buy it again, but need to know what I am looking for.

I think it's a regular Acan that is not getting quite as much light as it would like. When they get stronger lighting, they just get puffy and short. I have one that got moved into a shadier spot and started extending like your picture.

I see, that definitely makes sense. Strangely enough I like it looking like this, maybe I?ll purposely put a new one in a slight shade. Thank you.
