Found a Black and White crab. To fast, did not have a chance to get a camera.

How did it look? Was the body white and did it have a black stripe across its face? If so it may be an acro crab, but I can't be sure without a pic.

Last week I spent several hours taking out most of my live rock to get to a Zosimus aeneus which is a member of the Xanthidae family. This monster was eating all of my Zoanthids as NYPDFrogman mentions, and knocking all of my corals off the rocks, even the epoxied ones! Here is a close pic of the monster I captured, my son brought him to the LFS as he knew I would skewer it.

get a mason's jar ( glass jar used for preservatives) take a plastic soda bottle cut the top 3" off invert the cut portion of the soda bottle into the mason jar take the lid out of the cap and screw the cap onto the jar securing the cut bottle in the jar
put a nice size piece of food in the jar submerge it and wait
works great right after the lights go out.

easiest way to catch the bugger

PS the cut part of soda bottle that goes into the jar is the part in which the cap screws on LOL leave the cap off

That was serious.

If it is eating zoas put some in a glass jar and hope he goes for them. Or you could try other bait if you want.

Freezing pests is more humane than killing them.
