Hey thirty5 I was watching that piece. It wasn't open when I was there so I passed. I figured it was newly on display and thought I'd check back in a few days. Nice buy! But did you have to call them out here? You could have just said a store in Paramus. I go in there all the time they usually have nice stuff. It's not a real highway store. The fish department is usually stocked with nice stuff. I have bought some nice livestock from them in the past. Some of the fish guys know the hobby and are good to talk to. What ever you paid I'm sure they still made money. I'm glad you got a good deal. Like Sy Simms said "an educated consumer is our best customer".

Well here are some shots. The pics are almost exact on color. I also took pic of it next to a "real" frogspawn and a hammer. The frogspawn is green with purple tips (that is real color).

The torch has more of a peach/beige tip.

If I go big it will be a 6 footer! Wife actually asked the other day when I was going to get a bigger tank. I said idk when, she goes "I thought this was the one". I said ya, for now.

give it time to color up some more. I'm guessing they didn't have the greatest lighting and I'm guessing that they didn't hav eit for very long, Mine has been coloring up more and more everyday. To me it looks like orange tip/ blue tentacle torch but it may just be the saturation.

No color saturation, that is the ccolor of the piece. Both of those pieces are same color as seen with the eye.
