Worms on banded trochus and LR, friends or foes?

I noticed a bunch of white spots on my snails today, looked it up really quickly and figured eggs, then I looked closer at the picture and realized they're on my rocks and snails and they are c shaped. Spirorbid worms maybe? Are they good or bad? Is there a purpose for them?

They do look like Spirorbid worms. They are filter feeders and are reef safe. They tend to spread fast in some tanks though. You can always just scrap them off.

They are especially common in new tanks (is your new?) and their population dies back after a while so they are not everywhere you look.

Doesn't it depend more of where the rocks come from?, they tend to hitchhike in with the live rocks and mass produce.

The tank is a fluval edge, so unfortunately scraping them off would be a complete pain.

Yes, it is a new tank, it has been running for about a month and a half to two months. I just started noticing some amphipods running around in there too.

As long as they will do no harm, I will let them scale back on their own.
