Anyone interested in these Giant Sun Polyps? I wanted to get a few for my upcoming tank. They stay open all day and can be placed anywhere as far as light. They would be ~$40 per polyp. If we get enough I might be able to talk my supplier down a little. Looking to do this withing the next two weeks. If interested please post here, and we'll iron out the details after we get together a few people.

Mike, as of now I get $40. Might be able to get down to $35 based on qty. Will be around nickel-quarter size each. Remember no shipping costs either, so thats money saved right there.

very very dificult to keep healthy and happy.

Thanks Dave for making an uneducated comment. These are not normal Tubastrea, and do not require the daily feeding that the normal, smaller ones do. They do however, grow much faster with direct feeding as do most corals.

I never called them Caulestrai, and I do have experience with them.

when you assume, you make an ASS out of U and ME :p

If you do get some healthy ones and they adapt to your tank then they will do far better than normal sun corals would hands down.

I'm just stating.... these are not for the "lazy reefer" or one who is not more advanced past just feeding the tank flakes and a squirt here and there every few days of some juices and doing once a month waterchanges.

cheers,

D.

I agree, the Roes ones were awfully small, especially considering the pics they sent out.

Mike, i'm asking for pieces with 2-3 heads each to minimize fragging. Hopefully we won't have to frag anything.
