Tom, one of my emeralds didn't make it either. All 3 were dead as doornails while I floated the bag. 2 resurrected during the drip acclimation and are now in the tank munching away. The third never moved and was pronounced dead at 10:30pm. Check to see if their mouthpieces are moving before tossing em like Mike said.

yea, I check the mouthpieces before I pronouce that they are dead. Their underneath was open and mouse wasn't moving at all.. :( I did noticed there were some type of eggs in the bag when I got it home. I think one of the reason was we didn't have enough water in our bag so it faul the water pretty quickly..

My emerald made it home alive, thankfully. Sorry to hear about all the losses. Michael it was nice to meet you and your cat again. That's probably the friendliest cat I've ever seen. The mangroves perked up to. They don't look dry anymore. I also figured a way to mount my light so it is above the entire fuge and so the light is ontop of the mangroves. Thanks again.

Dean and ctx: I am sorry that you lost your emerald crabs. Would you like me to contact the company and see what they can do?

I hope that everyone else's new additions are comfortable and eating away in their new homes!!

Zoous and NYCJodi are you going to pick up your orders, or did I make a mistake in ordering inverts for you?

Michael - THANKS for helping me out on this group buy! :D . You get five stars from me! Let me know when a good time to come by tomorrow will be to pick up the unclaimed inverts.

Shaun

There wasn't any extra inverts, except for Zoous & NYCJodi everything was accounted for, let me know if that wasn't right. I went by the list on page 5 and ctxmonitor had a couple of items that I didn't see on the list but they were added later. Let me know.

I'm going to be home after 1pm today, so anything after would be fine.

SNAILS

does anyone need a few snails? I ordered 100 thinking I was going to split the order with someone else, I'll sell them three for a buck. I only needed 50.
I also have 100 micro blue leg hermits, don't need them all either.

romain, how many blue legs did you want?

I got the "turbo" snails. If they are anything like my other turbos they should eat a ton of algae. okay maybe not a ton, but at least a few grams
could you imagine if there was a "ton" of algae in your tank. those would be some high phosphate levels.
the fish would have a tough time swimming as well.

Lol....thats a good one. Funny thing is I've actually seen a tank that had a ton of hair algae. My neighbors tank was PACKED back to front with this stuff. It was so much when he turned on the light it wouldnt really make a difference. Thank god the tank wasnt a reef. Someone was talking about Mexican turbos earliar on this thread, they are right about how much they can eat. It took them about 2 months but that tank was spotless once they got it under control. You shouldv'e seen his clown host some algae on the rocks.

Hi Shaun:

I picked up the snails from Mike yesterday and want to pay you the money for them. Let me know when I can stop by to give you the money.

Thanks.
Way

The snails look great.
