Albert, be careful with the won pro heaters. They have a reputation to stick "on" and can overheat your tank (search RC). You should always use a heater with a temp controller to avoid a potential disaster IMO.

really? oh, i didnt know that. damn - now i gotta buy a controller for it too. there's always something more to buy. guess i will get the medussa when i have the funds.

I own two 250 watt Won Pro II heaters, so far so good! (knock on wood) I like the digital read out, easier to see.

Go with a Aqua-C Remora for a HOB skimmer. I seen through the years everyone with small tanks, (under 50g) trade in their CPR Bak Paks for Remoras.
There is a decent price difference between the two though. If your set on a CPR, I have a lightly used Bak Pak 2 (not the 2R) sitting around. PM me if your interested.
