The eagle has landed. I've got a Bermuda Aquatics BPS-5C in hand.
Initial read on it (not hooked up and running, just a visual), built very very well. Very nice joints, solid, well made.
Well, here it is evryone - my old G3 has nothing on this skimmer - all I can say is HOLY CRAP!!
I cut my vinyl hose, put the rubber cups on the bottom of the pump base, set the skimmer into the sump filled it with some water, put the pump in, attached the hose to the pump and the skimmer and plugged the pump in.
The first picture is what was produced after 5 minutes - when I took my G3 out it wasn't skimming at all. Then I got preoccupied with stuff and decided to feed the fish (ASS) cause now the bubbles got all big and it wasn't skimming as much :headache: - :duh:
Second pic is 15 minutes after I fed and is a detail from the top and the last pic is a total view in sump.
My observations - This thign rocks!!! I would add a cap on the top of the "T" where the water drains (I would be too freaked to leave it as is)
