Misleading info!!!!! They don't do that in chi-town!
They will kill live fish as in any fish market but not serving live fish on a eater's table like in the video.
You think the owners of the restaurant in chi-town are stupid enough not to recognize there may be a outrage? Live fish, as in fish not cooked, is not a general menu of Chinese Food. They happen to be frequently found in Japanese menu. Many Chinese, actually are scared of raw fish(sushi-sasimi) thinking that they are dirty and could be infectious!
In fact, Chinese praise ourselves of knowing how many ways to COOK a food item.

I am not even getting defensive YET. It's about informative vs mis-informing. It does not matter if the post is about chi-town, it's simply incorrect info. Even if you mention mexi-town, i will still object the info's validity.
I am not mad but just that your post will mislead people if I do not correct your point.
There are always some deviants in any community but what you described is not the norm in that particular community.

I lived in Japan and actually saw the plate first hand. I think that anyone that is or has been in the fish hobby would have a hard time eating the dish with the fish still alive. I didnt try it so I have no idea if there is any difference in taste. I did bug out though because the fish keeps moving its gills and taking sudden gulps of air. Thats the most disturbing part.
