Hi everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Erik Schiecke and I have just moved into the city from Chicago. I live in Manhattan down over in Nolita.

My girlfriend and I purchased an Oceanic Biocube recently as an attempt to get back into the hobby. I look forward to setting it up and meeting others who enjoy having a little piece of the ocean in their home.

Is that North of Little ITAly?

Isn't that called something else? Where's Soho in relation to that?


Side note: We need to stop letting Realtors rezone our city. It does nothing but drive up their commission. It used to be done by zip-code. Brooklyn for example has maybe 20 neighborhoods but if you ask a Realtor there are 20 neighborhoods at the foot of the bridges. Any neighborhood that comprises less than 10 square blocks is not a neighborhood, it's turd polish.

"Hey isn't this Bushwick? I thought Bushwick was a rough neighborhood?"
Realtor: "OH NO! This is East Williamsburg Gardens, it's VERY up and coming"

Up and coming = you better be packing.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Nolita is off the spring street stop green line and Prince stop orange line.

My other hobbies include playing the Nintendo Wii system, watching movies, and constantly cleaning the mess my girlfriend leaves behind before she goes to work

I work from home but currently have been taking time off so feel free to chat!
