i hate the new fish section they put up
its where the reef tank used to be at...
i don't think i would buy a fish from that section
... its easier for the staff to catch the fish but bad on the fish

didn't see any clowns - very strange..... and no sixlines.....but they had neon gobies, sale price 3 for $8, I got 3....I would have gotten more but my tank is recoving from an outbreak.....didn't want to chance it....turbo snails (small) $1.00, and nassarius snails (small) $1.49....and something I couldn't understand small yellow tangs, I mean small about 1 1/2 inch for $19.00.....(not cheap)

To answer your first question about Fishtown, yes they're a great store just make sure you Quaratine everything before you put it in your tank! That's good practice for anything you buy ever. Fishtown doesn't acclimate corals and the fish are often heavily stressed during transit. As long as you use common sense when picking your livestock and properly acclimate / quarantine you'll be fine, and save some money.

I need the gobies and snails

Hmm, need to build a quarantine tank now. Forget about the 24/7 web I was working for now.

i have 6 of them dfor sale if anyone wants those engineered gobies. lol same price . yeha they are engineered. also i hate that new contraption they built for the fish. they try to say its great but it isnt just easier for them to catch the fish. that is about it. but i bought a flame angel from them after i had to wait and try and see if any of them eat. also remember quarantine.

alot of the sw fish were DEAD in their tanks. not a good sign.

saw a big school of pilot fish, quite attractive and tempting.

i agree, that betta-style wall they are housing the flame angels is very sore on the eyes unless they go wholesale to the public in which case they ought to bring down their prices still yet. do miss the large display tank being there. a hardcore reef store ought to have a bigger display tank.

i get alot of my fw from ft but learned my lesson a whiles ago about getting my sw from ft. in my experience everything sw i bought from there died the next day, except for some snails. that's just me though.
