Salinity too high!!!

I just did a water change, about 10g and added too much salt. Salinity is a little higher than 1.028. dont have acces to RO water til tomorrow night. Will the tank be ok i have a bubble anemone and apoly frag. 1 tomato clown 1 yellow tang 1 mandarin 1 queen purple anthias and two firefox gobys 1 camel shrimp brittle star. Will it be OK overnight???

it was between 1.025 and 1.026 i get the water from my friend who went snowboarding for the week. I can get the water after work but will the tank be ok til then?

well, if there's nothing you can do...BUT, why don't you have 'extra' RO water for top off?
did we learn anything, tonight?

your tank will be fine. get it topped off as soon as you can. and as alfie said, get some emergency water. in a pinch you can use distilled water from the supermarket.

i mean i wouldnt recomend it but at a time like this its his only choice unless he wants to wait it out.

you need to go the the supermarket and get 5 gallons of distilled water.your tank is going to hasve evap and it will only get higher

Distilled water is fine. It is all I use.

In a real pinch, which I don't think 1.028 is, I would use any water, tap, distilled, etc. If you salt was too high corals would start to slime up and it could be a disaster. I would think using tap water is pretty harmless compared to losing the tank. JMO
