Ok so I just got a diy led fixture for my 75 gal tank it's 3 separate heat sinks w/ 72 LEDs right now it's sitting on top my tank using 2 pieces of wood and some plexy glass and it doesn't look horrible but I can't get my hands in the tank I'd like to hang it !
Any ideas ? Pictures would be great !
I'm gonna see if my wife will help me load some pictures of how it's set up later today ( I won't hold my breath) !

Thanks for any help
Btw my wife is not to keen on idea of hanging it from our ceiling so maybe use conduit
Tank is rimless
Thanks matt

Hanging lights

I hung my 4 foot halide light using steel pipe that you can buy from Lowes or Home depot. You can get threaded base plates and buy threaded 1 inch black pipe and and two 90 degree elbows that are threaded and two end caps and that's all you need. It is actually pretty strong and looks really good. The pipes come in different size lengths so you can configure it to your needs.

When I hung my light fixture I went to home depot and constructing my own hanging device. I purchased 2 pieces of steel that were very strong and sawed them into 4 pieces, 2 were longer (the verticle pieces) and 2 were shorter (to be suspended over the tank). My mother's fiance drilled a hole in all four pieces and we put a nut and bolt or something like that to secure the two pieces for each side in the shape of an L. We then lined the steel pieces up with my steel stand (they were really long) and drilled holes through the steel rod and the stand and fastened them with something. We wanted to ensure the hanging device was secured to the stand really well (I no longer have this hanging device as I decided to go wit ha wooden stand and a canopy). We then lined up the steel hanging device with my fixture repeated the same process, and wallah! That was a vague description lol
