My 60g Cube Rebuild

Ok now that I got my cube and ideas on what I want to do with it. I decided to re-plumb the cube with pvc pipe. The cube came with a custom king fuge (plus 1). I have a tight space inside the stand so I'm going to do my best with what I have. I going to be using my tunze 9006 skimmer for the time being. I plan on upgrading to a nac7 in a month or 2. Pix will be added soon.

Im wondering should i build a canopy or should I just hang the light fixture over it?

With a rimless tank i would definitely go with a hanging fixture.

Na I wasn't going to sit the canopy on the tank. I'm going to have it hanging. I just don't want too much light escaping from the tank and lighting up my livingroom.

ok the tanks is up and running. Here are a few pics. Btw, the pump that came with the setup is not strong enough.:frown: So i'll be upgrading the pump, skimmer, and lights in days time

Thanks, This is my first time going bare bottom. Not so bad. I Kinda like the sand. It takes some getting use too if you like sand.

I'm still looking for a internal pump thats atleast 1200gph for the cube. Need recommendations

Danner pumps are really nice and reliable.

Love the rock work btw. Don't even sweat the no sand look, in about a year it will be full of coraline.
