If you can QT your new copperbands before introducing them into your reef tanks, I'd highly recommend it. Not only for the obvious reasons; checking for injuries and/or diseases, but also to re-establish the fat reserves it may have lost during shipping. And it is also a great aid in 'training' them to eat Aiptasia! Once you have them eating foods such as blackworms and/or mysis, skip a day while adding an Aiptasia covered live rock to the QT tank. The next day, feed them sparingly...and by 'them' I mean feed the AIPTASIA sparingly. Many times the fish will go after the anemone just to get its food back but soon may begin to associate the pest with food thievery in general and devour them on sight. You can see why this can only be done in QT as any competition from tankmates will ruin the training attempt. Not a guaranteed method but after a few weeks of trying the worst you'll do is add a strong and healthy non-Aiptasia eating Copperband to your display instead of a thin and weak one. Still a win.

agreed. I've watched videos of peppermints being "trained" and apparently in the video the shrimp will tear apart the anemone to get to the food.
