Hi All,

My first post - hope I don't have to come up with a witty joke! I've owned an AP24 since June 2007 and I'm "moving up". I just bought a 46 gallon bowfront tank from Mike @ Tropical Island (GREAT guy BTW, very helpful and his place and tanks are IMMACULATE) so I'll probably be on here "picking some brains" every now and then....

I'm planning on draining most of the water in the AP24, sliding it over stand and all, and quickly refilling it a few yards away from its present location, then sliding in the 46g, hooking all the stuff up (refugium, sump, wet/dry etc) and firing her up. Eventually I plan on slowly transferring over what little livestock I have in the AP24 to the new tank.

Wish me luck!

Thanks
John

Thanks for the warm welcome folks

Here's a small sampling of my AP24 at various stages of tank maturity:

A couple more (before the plate coral and with some LR rearranged).

The sunny is closed-up because I took this during the day (the shot of the sunny opened-up in my last post was at night with flash)
