I left my sink on to make RO water and I left the house.
Later, I come back to find out that my brother used the sink and to keep the RO going, he left on the hot water, and not the cold. I felt the RO water made and it was hot as well.

Can I still use this water? Does hot water damage the filters inside the chambers?

Thanks for the help, Bro!
I believe that the hot water pipes have more chemicals/corrosion in them, so not good for RO filters ... need input from 'RO people'

aren't you suppose to only you one water source (the cold line), how does the hot water line get used when there is only one in?

my RODI is hooked up to the faucet of my bathroom sink. therefore, whichever handle I turn, (hot or cold) is the water that is used. Its the only way for me to get water as close to the tank as possible. And plus, it is convienent

why wouldn't you just tie into your cold line from under the sink? sorry for being off topic.

Don't want to leave it there permanently or own the residence they live in to mess with the piping. These are some reasons why people buy a faucet adapter.

It's the same reason why you run the tank the way you want to vs someone else.

pretty sure all faucets have a piece that will un-screw off the end and there is a little screen in there as well, might look like it doesnt but grab it with a pair of pliers
