Wow. I can't believe you guys lie to your Wives/Ladies about this hobby (or anything, actually.)

If you made the money, why can't you spend it the way you want, as long as the bills get paid? I have my money, she has hers. As long as rent is paid and the electric/cable stay on, we don't really ask questions. If she wants to order 5 new pairs of shoes in a week, she does. If I want to buy a new saw, she doesn't care.

Lying is no way to run a relationship, IMO.
