I have a beautiful rock covered with mushrooms but they are spreading around my tank like weeds. One took residence just inside the favorite cave of my blue assessor. Some I can cut out with a razor blade but other like the one in the cave are hard to reach. I'm amazed how they thrive in tiny crevices.

If you can get a 'bone cutter' it's best to try and get directly under the bottom center of them and chip off a little piece of rock along with the mushroom, that way they won't grow back and you can sell them to other reefers who might like to add a few (!) to their tanks. Or you can perhaps trade them for credit or other corals at your LFS.
Best if they have a bit of rock on them.

To try and actually 'kill' them kinda grates against the reason we're here - they are animals after all, so better to try and save them for others ;)..even if they grow like weeds.
