thanks...not the best pics. they are in a scratched up acrylic holder and they are fast little buggers. won't stay still. i took lots of pics and picked the best ones showing their patterns. if you click on the last pic.... link to a video, you would see how fast they are.

They are so cuteeeeeeee, and the clam has a beautiful pattern Dr.Tom! Once again CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

thank you. you wouldn't know by the look of it without any size reference but that clam is very big and fat. it's bigger than my hand (and i do have a pretty big hand ...8 1/2 to 9 surgical gloves or men's xl leather gloves). it also got some heft to it. when i was placing it in the tank, i was afraid to drop it and damage something.....like crushing the acro's or the blasto's near by. i should have weighed it....i'm willing to bet it was a couple of pounds!!!

Sweet clam! The clowns. Look very healthy also. Nice new additions Tom!

thanks pat. i don't know if the clam would be sweet tasting but with some lemon and tabasco and we're talking....yum...yum...yum....lol :lol2:. people do eat the tridacnids....the non-colorful ones.

i can't wait to see what the smorcularis pair will look like a year from now....hoping that the black darwin traits will be more apparent.
