hey guys, i just ordered some fruitloop zoas from aquatic express, he is gonna deliver them to the docs for me, i was told if you guys were interested in any of his stuff he would do a group buy rate... and free delivery....

I want some fruit loops too but that pic on the site doesn't look great. They don't look so bright and colorful like I thought/think they are.

Driving directions

Just so I don't get too lost... I'm coming from Hicksville -- Google maps says it's the same distance and time whether I go SS pkwy and Belt; or, NS pkwy and Interboro (J. Robinson). And knowing how iffy traffic is on the Belt, I will opt for the northern route. So... is anything glaringly wrong with the following directions?

9.Continue onto Interborough Pkwy/Jackie Robinson Pkwy W

1.0 mi
10.Take exit 6 for Metropolitan Ave

0.2 mi
11.Turn left at Metropolitan Ave

0.3 mi
12.Turn right at Park Ln S

1.2 mi
13.Turn left at Woodhaven Blvd

1.0 mi
14.Turn right at 101st Ave Destination will be on the left

0.3 mi


Looks fairly clear cut and easy, but I just want to make sure.

Oh, and how is the parking situation?

Looks good but when on Woodhaven Blvd stay on the service road or you wont be able to the right onto 101ave, then proceed to 88th st
the office is on the left on 101 Ave at a three street intersection of
101ave , 88th & Rockaway blvd.
Awning say FOOT DOCTOR

street parking all along the street across the street by the gas station
there's a church on the next block sunday mass people will be competing for parking, sorry.

I had a great time. It was everything I had imagined and more. Everyone was sooooo nice and informative n sharing. Josh from MR wanted to buy us lunch even though he wasnt coming. I bought 3 pie's. Josh no need...,

My power point presentation came with discussions of personal experiences and dosing techiques of everyone. We actually had round table type dicusssions.

I received advice on placement of my probes with relation to my chiller and the such. I just believe that the level of interest was very detailed n sincere.

We reviewed and tested my new Hanna Phosphate checker.

With some sharp scalpels Anthony demonstrated fragging techniques along with pearls of experince. OzoneParkGuy donated Zoos to frag for all who wanted.

We also reviewed plumbing n plumbing parts.

Tomtoothdoc brought me a gift of a beautiful SPS colony (sorry not good with names, will post a pic manana.) Thank you Tom.

That guy Staaan is a nice guy and intelligent. I can't wait to see George's new tank. We all need to go to his house for design planning of his system. jcs11236 recieved his first SPS pieces. He was happy.Motortrendz, Jarrett Shark, n Anthony27 all played well together.

Finally YoungReef n BigLA showed up around three then we took a road trip to ManhattanAquariums in my car. WOW!! what a cool place. tomtoothdoc warned me but i didnt believe him not to bring my credit cards lol I left there with a Derasa Clam. But hey it came with a 35% discount!

Back to the office to put the clam in to tank when a fellow reefer showed up at 630! Ah it was ok he helped me put stuff in my car lol

thank you doc for hosting.....next time i'll try to make it on time for the talks and discussions. you're welcome doc, the coral is a green elkhorn....light them up...they are from middle area of the 27" height...and i got 2x400w 20k xm halides with 2x110 actinics vho's. fast grower.
it was nice meeting everyone there...met some old and made some new friends. ozoneparkguy...very generous...donating his zoas...even when someone inadvertently walked off with the mother colony, he was still cool about it....lol
alex, thanks for the ic gel and the walking hetero....it's freaking awesome....didn't see it walk but it moved from the original location.
mike, jarrett, george, stan, anthony, jcs, we shall meet again...same reef time same reef channel.
doc...only one clam from mahattan aquarium?....you did good doc.....i would have walked out with one of every ora frags that were on sale....that's also one of the reasons why i didn't go with you guys....lol.

i met some of you guys at Manhattan aquariums, DrHarrylopes,young reef,Big La and ozone park guy, thanks for the advice on the birdsnest ozone it looks awesome in my tank. Great group of guys i will certainly like to see Dr lopez's tank if there is a chance.
