my buddy just gave me three. around 4 inches tall and plant is around the size of a golf ball. better to put in my tank or fuge? both have plenty of lighting

Refuge with 24 hour lighting IMO because the roots take a long time to get a foot hold.

ok thank you very much. any certain care for them? i only have cheeto in my fuge and fuge sand with 2 18w 50/50 pcs on it. i dose it every now and then with a little iron

These plants actually require more lighting than you have in your fuge. Put it in the display.

( beerfish )is right,they need strong light.In the wild they are found in shallow areas.Ask your friend what kind of lighting he had them under.

he had them in his main display with 4 t-5s on a 65g. i mean my fuge is small. only 5.5 gallons. there is 36 watts on that. isent that like 6.5 watts per gallon? seems like a good amount. i have them in my display right now and shaved the base all the way to the glass. here is a cell phone pic of them... do they look like they are ok. dont know anything about them. he has alot so i asked for a few.
