By the way if anyone is complaining about how high the prices are at New World they should take a look at what they charge at House of Fins. Their prices make New World seem a bargin.

Yes they are but people were buying all kinds of fish and things. So I guess if people are willing to pay their prices they have no problem charing them.

Their quality on the fish were very good as was their corals but as far as I can see nothing special on the coral side there.

Jim - we had a great time. Thanks for your hospitality. I liked House of Fins because I saw some things there I've never seen before (like that 5 inch pair of saddlebacks, and that giant hermitcrab that had hairy legs). It was very expensive, but the setup was amazing, as was the quality/selection of fish/corals. Although their market may not be 'do-it-yourselfers' like us, they seem to have found their niche. You won't find me buying anything there - but I wish I lived closer just to visit.

Eric and I will plan our open house shortly. We don't quite have the space you do, but we'd love to have everyone over.
