I'm looking to redo my aquascaping and I broke a large piece of live rock (around 25-30lbs) in half when i did it last time. I'm looking to almost create an arch and I need to bond the rock together strong enough to hold as I place it back into the tank and last while in the tank..

I'm gonna try to drill 2 holes using drive way markers as support rods with that aqua putty in the holes to hopefully give it a good bond..

Will that work?

Ive stacked agrocrete pretty high (2 feet) in awkward positions with the nothing more than PVC and epoxy and it worked out pretty well.

When drilling the LR try to get farther than normal from the edge. Since it is a natural formation there are so many stress cracks it's easy for you to break it apart and make it worse.

Or looking at it from another perspective, you just made "nano rocks" with even more surface area. :p

Good luck
