What is the best brand of salt to use? I'm using Red Sea.

I like instant ocean. havent had one problem with there salt.

its a toss up between Tropic Marine and Red Sea... i dont notice any difference really- but i dont keep corals

there is no true best salt
Everyone has there brand and as long as there fish and coral are healthy then the salt they are using is the best.

15 years ago there was a difference. Not true anymore since most manufacturers use the same salt with diff. packaging.

From my personal experience IO gives me the best result.

Sachem salinity. Never had any cyano issues and u get a good amount for your money. Been using
It for over a year and couldn't be happier. It also gives u a read out of how much cal, mag , Alk and ect are in the mix on each individual bucket. Nice feature

Tropic Marin pro reef. Very happy with it and will never switch. Worth the money.
