jackson, I love the ATI fixtures. If money were no object, I'd already have one over my tank.

I feel the same way you do about the fixtures though: the 24 inchers do kinda look silly over a 20 inch wide tank. I bet if you hang it above the tank a bit, it won't look too bad though.

What kind of bulb do you have in your MH setup?

i will be going with 2 36" 4 bulb retro ice cap t5's on my next build, your right not having other bulb ssucks for this fixture, but the color isnt bad, and the antinics really pop. t5 really isnt less heat to speak but it is less direct heat, t5's the heat is spread across the bulbs not focused. rich u would have maybe 2" each side over hang and really maybe only lose 1" light each side, there's this also
