hqi lights

I just opened a box that i received 3 250 HQI XM bulbs and am alittle skeptical about weather these bulbs are new. is there any way i can verify if tese bulbs are new. they look kind of hazey in the middle like frosted and seem to have some small particals in the middle of the bulbs. any input will be greatly appreciated.

Those bulbs have been burned before. Thats for sure

they look new to me. All my new bulbs have that white coating on them

This bulb look normal ,
I'm from europe , where HQI light is most popular ,
i saw many HQI bulbs even Giesemann (the best bulbs) looking the same like yours , you can be calm your bulb is good .

Don't bother, they wouldn't know what to do with them. HD does not carry lighting like these and I would not trust anything those clowns says anyway.

Where did you buy the bulbs from?? As long as they are from a reputable store you should be okay, no reason for them to sell use bulbs. Most bulb manufactures test burn their bulbs before they package them. I have seem some with the white residuals, some without, it all depends on the manufacturer.

most bulbs are tested before they are boxed.
