Introducing Myself

Hi, my name is Florence I am from Denmark. I am new to Saltwater, I had a frechwater aquium when I was younger.
I have a Red Sea Max 130D and I have had it for 16 days. I only have 3 snails and 3 Eremite crab together with 25 kilo Live Stone. I really look forward to I can have some fish in my tank. Right now I have had brown and green alge.

I look forward to learn a lot from you all! I have already got good info from this forum Sorry for my bad English, it is my second languish!

Welcome to MR. If the tank is this new I would not put anything alive in it as it is probably still in it's cycle.

Thank you all! I am (unfortunately in Denmark) love New York and hope in the future to stay longer then I do now. I have just had an Exhibition in New York, and one more coming up soon, at that time I hope to visit again I try to visit at least once a year

Yes, I have got coral glue to glue it on, but before I will glue it, I want to be 100% sure of the position of the stone. Any ideas?

Welcome to MR. Is that painting in your avatar your own? It is quite beautiful. Where was the exhibit? One thing I would suggest if you haven't done so already is to try to connect with some local hobbyists. There must be a local club or certainly a Danish forum. We are happy to help as much as we can. but being part of a local community is a great way to add extra enjoyment to the hobby and really progress in your reef keeping ability.

Yes it is my painting. Thanks, the Exhibition is in APW Gallery in Long Island City - NYC. Yes same time as I found this forum I found a Danish forum that I am on! Just found more infor here on the forum and thought that in steed of just reading I would introduce my self.

Hi Florence happy to have you here and your painting is beautiful! Do let us know the next time you will be having an exhibition here, I'm sure a number of our members would like to attend?

One suggestion on the aquascaping..if it all isn't already glued, you might want to think about making an opening in it so that the fish can swim through the rocks as well as the opening/s aiding in flow from the front to back of the tank? Either way - best of luck with it and looking forward to more pics!

Really good idea. You can se that their is an opening, but I could make that bigger, if I remove the rock in the middle or move the side just a hint.
