Which skimmer for 90g fish/anenome set up

Looking to choose my skimmer for a fish/live rock/anenome set up. In proces sof selecting my sump, but which skimmer would be good for around 100-150. No SPS or LPS in this tank.
ASM G-Mini Reef Aquarium Protein Skimmer 75 gal w/pump??

I've heard that I don't want to overskim so the anenome can grow.

your not going to over skimmer, and a mini g is way to small, would say a minimum of a euroreef rs 100 or bigger, asm g3 or others, most companies over rate the size of tank it is rated for

What if I just did a FOWLR tank, no anenome. Do I still need such a powerful skimmer? Thanks

the more fish you have.. the bigger skimmer you'd need due to more of a bioload.

Well I Have Had Some Ups And Downs With My 76 Gallon Half Moon Tank But At The End Of The Day I Am Very Pleased With The Performance My Aqua Medic Turboflotor Provides.

I run an ASM g2 on a 75gallon with corals and fish. If you are not going to keep a reef I do think you need bigger than that.

I like the ASMs for small in sump setups. Easy to use and effective. We all know you're going to end up with corals in the tank just accept it. Resistance is futile. Get the ASM G2 and you'll be good regardless of what direction you want to take the tank.
