auto top off question

i want to have an auto top off system. i dont know how it works? never had one before and the pictures on the forum dont really explain how to set up. do i put in the sump or the actual tank?

i recently purchased an ATO from autotopoff.com. mine is tank mounted, but you can also get one to mount in your sump. the ATO can be purchased with one or two float sensors. once the water level drops below the midpoint of your sensor, a pump sitting in a reservoir of water will be activated to refill your tank/sump until it reaches the midpoint again. hope this helps.

Auto top off makes a great piece ..I put mine in the sump only beacause I fell water in the sump will drop way before water in the display ....My .02 cents...
