Welcome to Manhattan Reefs. Sanjays light guide has a few glitches that need to be worked out still.

That is one impressive tank and equipment list! Waiting to set that bad boy up must be tough, but it will be worth it.

Also thanks for your service :usa1:

Jhale, thank you for the warm welcome. The tank is no where near to be ready for setup yet. I still have time to gather more gadgets. This is a one time deal, i don't want to repeat the old mistake with multiple upgrade. I already finalized on the lighting. it will be 3 x 1000w, Hamilton 14k and 8 retro T-5 for dust/dawn simulation.

Welcome to Manhattan Reefs!!

Wow. Just wow. lol
This will certainly be a fun (and exciting!) build to watch as it progresses. Would the wave motion be run on this 24/7 or only during certain periods of the day?

Best of luck with it and we'll all be sitting right here watching & cheering you on :)

Here is my old 240g cube with Hamilton 14k 1000w no chiller :D. The corals turned brown after 3 days without light :(

Thank you Kathy. Will put up a build thread as soon as my family settled next year....

those angels are hit or miss, I guess yours was a hit

you had some great colors on the SPS there, I guess 1000 watt bulbs will provide plenty of light.
