im back & tank drill

It?s been a long time since I posted on this site. I had to put it away my 90-gallon in storage. But now I am working on a 30-gallon tank and I have a question. I am thinking of drilling the tank for my return?s and out going flow. The question is how do I find out if I have tempered glass, and is there some one in long island that can drill it for me.

i drill tanks.i only have the 2 sizes though.3/4 and 1".i drilled my 30 take a look at my thread.most likely the bottom is the only tempered glass

Look at the glass with polarized sunglasses on. You'll see the difference between tempered glass and regular glass.

FYI, I don't know of any 30g tanks with tempered sides, only tempered bottoms.
