Salifert also makes a good Iodine kit.

Why do you want to dose iodine..for what type of coral/s?
Remember it is also one of the ingredients in your dry salt mix.

Iodine dosing (as you probably know already) is widely debated. I applaud you for recognizing the importance of testing (with a quality test kit) before and during your dosing regime. That said, here are a couple of good articles for reading and doing your research before you go down this controversial path:

Advanced Aquarist

For the large group of inquisitive reefers on MR, I urge you to document with pictures and logs of your dosing regime, the procedure and success (hopefully) or heaven forbid failure of this test.

Best of luck with your experiment. Regular iodine dosing hasn't really been researched much. I hope you have great success with this method. Keep us posted.

If your tank is fairly new, might be best first to get it stable, then established and make sure things are growing and happy..and after that make a decision.
I also read the links that Russ put up and it seems the only thing anyone has tested iodine on so far is macroalgaes. You'd be risking your entire tank on dosing iodine.
Maybe down the line, set up a small tank with select corals and be the one to discover if it is worthwhile! :)

Glad my point was made and not wasted :grouphug:
