Good nano skimmer -

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good nano skimmer for a
29gal(oceanic bio-cube) ?
I have the one oceanic makes but isn't doing the job.


Anyone have any experince w/ Tunze Nano doc 9002 skimmer or looking
to get rid of one ? This seems like it is my best option.

Any advice is appreciated.

I had the remora, got rid of it to have a non hob skimmer switched to the tunze doc 9002 skimmer, they both work extremely well.

the remora pro is loud as it uses a mag 3, not the nano. my nano remora is quiet and does a good job pulling crap out.

Tunze is quiet...IMO.

can u attach a MJ1200 to the nano-remora for a 30 cube with 10gal sump and it wil be efficient?

Does the Tunze fit in the chamber? Also what are you running in your bio cube? My just took a really bad crash last week. I had chemi pure and the oceanic skimmer. That stinks.

I have an aquapod. Not sure what would fit in the biocube. I would search on Nano-Reef.com. I am using a deltec skimmer.

Remora and nano remora should fit well on your biocube. However, they are hob skimmer, you have to go topless. If you are using the hood, you have to replace it with something else like sunpod.

I believe tunze fits well inside of your chamber with hood (little modification). You can get all the information from nano-reef
