Open top

Want to keep a fairly open and accessabe top to my tank. Pretty much the only solution i have found is to hang a pendant from the ceiling or something like that. I would prefer not to have a large hanging chain/cord from the ceiling. Anyone have a good solution to this? Something like a strong bendable arm to attach the light to and attach the other end to the tank? (like how desk lamps are)

How big is the tank? There are MH clamp lights like the Viper made for reefs.
