The only livestock I bought was a Hippo Tang....acclimating now :sleepy:.
But there were SO MANY options with possible fish to get...too bad I only got a 65g.

The corals were OK, but I thought expensive considering there's a frag swap coming in a month or so.

i totally loved it. the guy that owns the store is big into reef conservation and not abusing mother nature. house, bad coffee, hits and i hung out before heading over...and the 2 hour wait in line wasn't bad at all! definitely worth getting there that early to be with the first group let in.

my big find was a christmas tree blenny. i'd wanted one last time i went there but wasn't sure if it was reefsafe and the price was a little too expensive for me (70 or 80). i even put a post on here asking if anyone knew about them and where i could get one. well i got one tonight for about 50. he is gorgeous. the other stuff we got isn't rare or anything - but this for me was the one thing that i don't know if i could get it anywhere else. will take pics tomorrow. he is like a lawnmower blenny only bright colors.

THANK YOU HOUSE FOR DRIVING US! IT WAS A BLAST!!! WE'RE ON FOR NEXT YEAR!!!

I finally got my 2 cleaner shrimp! I just missed a helfrichi firefish. But at $180 before the discount, That's okay. I'm glad someone bought it before I could!

Dean, did you see the blue branching lobo? There will be frags at the frag swap!

I also got my stuff from joe at NE aquatics. Thanks to Joe for meeting me there!

LoL...they had more clams that were A LOT more purple and bigger too for $70 with 25% off. My pockets weren't ready for that.

Sorry Brett...I missed the lobo :headache:. Frags at the swap will be great though.

I didn't even know Joe was there. I hope to shoot up his way later today anyway :sgrin:.

yup ,great stuff ,I GOT MY BLACK SUN POLYP la lal ala la al a,,only place in the tri-state that had it ,Pat the owner i think was great ,took out time to talk to me and anyone need info ,
they know there stuff ,and as far as price ,it was a bit pricey but the selection ,additude ,and service was worth the trip and money ,and it was great meetin everyone that came to MM ,,will post pics when they open ,about 2 or 3 days ,,

Another thing I loved occurred during the owner's pre-opening speech; he acknowledged the presence of several reefing communities. Only after he mentioned Manhattan Reefs, was any noise made. We really represented last night. M.R. Unit!!
