RO/DI units

I know there are many different RO/DI units available, does anyone know of a good one that wont break the bank? I know Dr. Fosters and Smith has a 4 stage 50 gpd coralife one for $130 but I dunno how good it is. And I know kent marine makes the Hi-S ones, but they are significantly more expensive. How about any of the ones listed on ebay? What is a good one to get that wont kill my bank account? :lol:

Can you hook up ro/di units to, lets say, a T spout off of your washing machine cold water line, and then run the ro/di unit drain to the washing machine drain? I know its a dumb question but I've never acually seen one hooked up and so I want to make sure that you can do somehting like that before I go and purchase one.

yes you can or your kitchen sink or bathroom sink i got mine on ebay a aquasafe 6 stage to door for i think $120

Yes, you can use the waste water from the RO/DI as your washing machine water. Good to hear you want to go green
