I know a ton of you have tried this but am having serious difficulty finding some clip on fans to cool my tank. It is in the basement as you all know and on a day like today, it reached a max temp of 82. I am thinking a small clip on fan would do the trick to keep it around 80-81 max.

That being said, they are being sold on ebay for 3.95 with 9.95 shipping (like that's worth it)

Anyone seen this type of fan locally - at HD, Lowes or the like? Chinatown? Anyone?

if dee&dee does not have them, target carries them. but your lucky that your tank is in the basement, i came home today and my kittens had unplugged the fan. my 29 gallon was at 87 degrees. surprisingly everything looked great. but i went nuts, slowly bringing down the temp. very very scary!!!!!
