Ok so I have a Japanese Dragon Eel named charles that I've had for some time now, and until today everything's been great. Last night I fed him his dinner and then went to bed. Tonight when I went to feed him he didn't come out to eat like he usually does. There's a bunch of Live rock so you cant see where he hides unless you move the rock. After trying very hard to get him to come out, I moved all the rock to discover to my shock he was no place to be found. I searched every corner of the tank and dug through the sand. The tank is fully enclosed and there's no way he could have escaped. So the only two options are that he was stolen (I live with a bunch of roommates) or my anemone's ate him. Both highly unlikely, as someone would have been seriously hurt if they tried to take him out of the tank because he only likes me -- he lets me pet him. Is it possible for a few tiny anemone's to eat him entirely? where did he go? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
